1966

I continued my studies at U.W.- Madison.  Took my Ph.D. language exams in Spanish and French then took my Ph.D. orals.  Passed with 'flying colors.'  Began focusing on the Ph.D. thesis.

Adopted a 3-year old African American boy named Todd in December.
